Yes, but only so you can customize what you are getting and only pay for what you need! You can add on individual digital downloads if you only need one or two photos or you can pay for a complete set of digital downloads. All digital downloads are high resolution and come with printing rights! 

You'll need to email to schedule your session. During the peak season (October - December) it is a good idea to book 3-4 weeks in advance.
These sessions are scheduled on week days Monday through Thursday.

Family members don’t have to match exactly, but should stay coordinated
with simple, comfortable clothing. Start out with a basic color palette and go from there. You can pick one outfit that carries the pattern and keep everyone else's outfits more simple. You can do this with a neutral and few colorful brights or try a softer palette that has different tones. Avoid dark clothing, busy patterns, graphics/logos, and primary colors that have a tendency to stand out and clash. It is most important to me though that you and your kids are confident and happy in what they are wearing!

 For outdoor family mini sessions we typically don't have time for outfit changes. If doing a studio session it is much more convenient to change you or your child's clothes so feel free to bring options, but be aware of your child's limit with how many times you change them before they lose it - #reallife

Yes! My dogs are my children so I get it. Try to have a plan in place and be realistic about expectations. If your dog is not well trained, getting a posed family photo will not happen. Make sure to think through the logistics of having pets in some photos and pets not in some photos. Is it too hot for the dog to wait in the car? Can you pet wait patiently to the side? If so, maybe having a family member not in photos or friend to help would be good. 

Weather can change quickly especially in Alabama. I typically don’t make the cancellation call until the day of your session. Even if it is raining an hour before your session time, the weather can clear up and result in amazing lighting, with picturesque clouds and even a rainbow. Your safety is our utmost concern, so if it begins to rain during your session or if we have severe wind or lightning, we will cancel your session and try our best to reschedule any remaining portrait time. I promise I will be fair at working out a solution with you.

$50 of $150 is charged when you book your session and it is a non refundable retainer. If you need to cancel your session for any reason, I ask that you do so as soon as possible. That being said, please don't force your sick child to take photos. The results will not be good and no one will be happy - and I want this to be fun! We will work to reschedule your session on a date that works best for both of us. 

When will I see my photos? 

For mini sessions, within 2 weeks of your session we will upload your photos to an online gallery and email a link to you that you can share with family and friends. The email will also include instructions on how to download your images and order prints. 

After your session FAQ's

From your online gallery you can easily order professional prints and any of our portrait products that will get shipped directly to your home. Prices vary depending on size in product but 4x6 prints start at 92 cents.
If you would like to purchase a USB with your images on them it is an additional $25.

How do I print my photos?
